About Samora!

Samora is an award-winning professional Middle Eastern Style belly dancer, choreographer and instructor based in Atlanta, Georgia.  She is also the Director and Founder of the Amoraat Dance Ensemble professional performance troupe.  Samora has been in the belly dance industry for over ten years- studying, teaching and performing across the U.S. at festivals, nightclubs, restaurants and private events.  She has trained many of the successful professional dancers that currently perform throughout Georgia. 

Having studied dance all if her life, Samora has a true love for the art of dance.  Taking in all of her vast performance art studies and mixing it with the art of belly dance, Samora has created a style that is uniquely her own.  She is recognized and noted for her captivating, intriguing and graceful performance dance style and for her ability to connect with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Most known for her innovative and powerful drum solos, she was awarded the People's Choice Award at the 2010 Black Orchid Dance Drum Solo Contest.  She is a favorite among many to be sure. 

Samora currently teaches classes in Decatur, Georgia and performs regularly as one of the featured dancers at Nicola's Lebanese Restaurant.
